Jet Engine bike

One day, I found a mini jet engine on a Chinese website and was instantly amazed. I knew I had to buy it — and so I did!

When it arrived, I wasn’t quite sure what to do with it at first. I started by using it as a demonstration piece at my school, which went really well. But somehow, it didn’t feel like enough.

Then, I had a brilliant idea: why not attach it to my bike and see how fast I could go? Mounting the engine was surprisingly easy. I used some aluminum straps and a few sturdy threads, and just like that, it was securely attached to my bike!

The engine runs on diesel, so I equipped my bike with two 250ml tanks, giving me about two to three minutes of runtime. The engine came with a display showing all sorts of telemetry, which I placed right on my handlebars so I could monitor it while riding.

Then came the moment of truth. I put my earphones in and fired it up. It sounded like a fighter jet roaring past — but staying put! A thick cloud of smoke poured out, and then the screen showed that the engine was fully started.

I began pedaling to build speed, then gave it full throttle. The acceleration was insane — almost like an electric car. Before I knew it, I was reaching 60 km/h on a simple bike. Definitely not safe, but absolutely thrilling! Cars around me were staring, some even closing their windows because of the noise.

Eventually, I came across a pedestrian and quickly shut it off to let them pass safely — maybe just a little cloud of smoke to contend with!
